At some point, I realized something that did not sit right with me: sending a package in Nigeria often feels like taking a risk.

It was not just one experience. I kept hearing the same stories from friends using dispatchers. Small businesses dealing with failed deliveries and unhappy customers. Riders giving out every day, working hard, but without proper support or protection.

And the more I paid attention, the clearer it became: the problem was not just delivery. It was trust.

People did not trust the system. Businesses did not trust that their goods would arrive. Even riders were not fully supported by the platforms they depended on.

I started asking questions. Why was something this important still so unreliable? Why were we accepting it as normal?

The more I looked into it, the more I realized this was not just a tech problem. It was an operational and human problem. The system was not built with enough accountability, transparency, or care for the people involved.

That was the turning point.

Gopica started from the decision to build something better, a platform where deliveries are not based on guesswork, but on structure, visibility, and trust.
